Sharepoint System Support Specialist

About the role:

Our team is currently looking for a System Support Specialist who will provide support, maintenance, and 2nd/3rd level support. In this role, you will work within the Build and Run Operations – SharePoint team and you will be primarily managing the daily operations of the SharePoint 2013, SharePoint Online and Power Platform services globally. You will also work with the Service Design and Roadmap team for designing, evaluating, testing, and deploying new technologies in the respective field.

The services within SharePoint Online and Power Platform include Power Apps, Power Automate, OneDrive Online, Microservices (Planner, Whiteboard, Stream etc.)

Your work:

  • Provide support, maintenance, and 2nd/3rd level support of services within SharePoint 20213, SharePoint Online and Power Platform services
  • Responsible for ensuring SharePoint 2013, SharePoint Online and Power Platform services meet business agreed SLA and on time to provide quality support globally
  • Responsible for resolution of business-critical incidents by providing interim and permanent technical solutions within SharePoint and Power Platform services
  • Search for service improvement opportunities and bring them to implementation

You should have:

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience including hands on experience of SharePoint 2013 and SharePoint/OneDrive Online
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle and manage emergency incidents under stressful situations
  • A team player with the ability to co-operate globally with different cultures
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task to achieve goals and deadlines
  • Good English language skills (both verbal and written)
  • Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell)
  • Nintex 2013 and experience would be added advantage
